About me

As the owner of Voikos I have many years of experience in managing medium-sized and large companies. First, for over 20 years, I worked as CFO and then CEO for listed companies, each of which was majority-owned by a family business. Most recently, from 2009 to 2021, I was CEO of TAKKT AG (SDAX) in Stuttgart, an internationally active B2B e-commerce company with approximately 2,500 employees, over EUR 1 billion in turnover, and high profitability. Turnover was divided equally between Europe and North America. In 2020, the e-commerce share of revenue was close to 60%.

During my time at TAKKT, the company evolved from a mail-order company to a sustainable e‑commerce provider.

Through acquisitions and divestments, I continuously developed TAKKT Group’s portfolio with the aim of reducing cyclicality while maintaining attractive profitability.

The business model was also continuously developed. The focus was on digital transformation and sustainable business. In 2017, TAKKT AG was awarded the German CSR Prize in the category “Ecological Commitment” for its sustainability activities. For the development and implementation of its digital agenda, TAKKT received the 2017 Digital Champions Award from Deutsche Telekom and Wirtschaftswoche.

Thanks to my various leadership roles as CFO and CEO, I have gained experience in the areas of corporate governance, strategy, M&A, and finance, as well as digital transformation and sustainability.

In the autumn of 2021, I founded Voikos. I also accepted a Lecturer position at the Chair of Organization and Human Resources at the University of Freiburg with the topic "Leadership and ESG".

I studied Economics (Diplom-Volkswirt) and Political Science (M.A.) at the University of Freiburg, where I also received my doctorate on the topic of “In-House Banking in International Companies”.

In my view, Environmental Social Governance (ESG) opens up incredible entrepreneurial opportunities for family businesses.
